Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Spanish goalkeeper Inaki Pena is preparing to leave FC Barcelona during the summer transfer window, following recent developments in the goalkeeper position within the Catalan team.

Romano explained that the arrival of goalkeeper Juan Garcia at Barcelona, along with the renewal of Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny's contract, has diminished Pena's chances of participating next season, prompting him to seriously consider embarking on a new experience outside the walls of Barcelona.
