The media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour stated on his program "Stadium Al-Moharrer" that a source inside Zamalek Club confirmed that some procedures have delayed the joining of the duo Ahmed Sherif, the striker from Pharco, and Mahdy Suleiman, the goalkeeper from Al-Ittihad Alexandria, to the white team.

Al-Ghandour continued: "The source clarified that the absence of the duo from the camp at this stage is due to some specific procedures that have not been completed yet, indicating that things are proceeding normally, and the players are expected to join as soon as these details are finalized."

He added: "Zamalek had entered into intensive negotiations with the duo in the past period to strengthen the team based on the vision of the new head coach, Yannick Ferreira, who is seeking to prepare a strong squad for the upcoming season."

He concluded: "The final position regarding the joining of the players is expected to be resolved in the coming few days, after completing all the administrative and medical arrangements related to them."
