Mbappe Withdraws Lawsuit Against Paris Saint-Germain
Monday 07-07-2025
French newspaper "L'Équipe" reported that Kylian Mbappe, the Real Madrid striker, decided to withdraw the lawsuit he filed against Paris Saint-Germain for emotional harassment and attempted extortion for signing, which he had submitted on May 16, resulting in a judicial investigation being opened on June 24 by the Paris public prosecutor's office.

The newspaper explained that Mbappe and his entourage preferred to calm the legal atmosphere and focus on his sports career with Real Madrid, but he has maintained his claim before the French labor council for an amount of 55 million euros, representing salaries and bonuses he did not receive for the last months of his contract with the Parisian club.

"L'Équipe" confirmed that the relationship between Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has improved recently, especially after the latter's statements on June 10 wishing Mbappe success in his career with Real Madrid.

The two parties are expected to meet face to face on Wednesday in New Jersey, on the sidelines of the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.
