Reports have revealed that Brazilian club Flamengo is considering reappointing Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the former coach of Al Hilal, to lead the team again after his first stint between 2019 and 2020.

Flamengo's interest in signing Jorge Jesus comes despite his close proximity to taking over the Saudi team Al Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo.

It is worth noting that Al Nassr is in positive talks with Jesus to succeed Italian coach Stefano Pioli, but as of now, the Portuguese has not signed a contract to coach the yellow team.

According to reports, Flamengo is evaluating the possibility of signing Jesus, who is currently not tied to any club, before proceeding with the renewal of the current coach Felipe Luis's contract.

Reports indicate that Jesus does not rule out the idea of returning to coach in Brazil and maintains open discussions regarding this, despite his negotiations with Al Nassr.

Sources pointed out that Felipe Luis is contracted with Flamengo until next December, and there is a preliminary agreement to stay until the end of 2026, but there are no confirmations regarding the continuation of the relationship between the two parties.
