The newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat revealed that Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, the new head coach of Saudi club Al-Hilal, has handed the club management a list of players he wishes to part ways with during the current summer transfer window.

According to the report, the Italian coach has decided to release 4 foreign players from Al-Hilal this summer, namely: Aleksandar Mitrović, Malcolm, Renan Lodi, and Caio César.

This decision is part of Inzaghi's plan to reshape the team in line with his technical vision for the upcoming season, amid the club's desire to compete in all domestic and continental tournaments.

It is expected that Al-Hilal's management will begin taking steps in the coming days to market the mentioned players, paving the way to free up spots for new signings.

Inzaghi had led Al-Hilal to the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup before exiting the tournament at the hands of Brazilian Fluminense with a score of 2-1.
