The management of Al-Zawraa club has decided to terminate the contract with Ivorian forward Mamadou Souro, following a season that did not meet expectations within the walls of the prestigious club.

Souroe, who joined Al-Zawraa from Saudi club Al-Batin, has a market value estimated at 125,000 euros, but his performance during the season was not convincing to the coaching staff or the fans, as he managed to score only 3 goals and provide just one assist throughout his appearances.

Despite the hopes pinned on the player due to his physical build and experience, his overall performance did not justify his stay, prompting Al-Zawraa to make the decision to release him in preparation for restructuring the attacking line for the new season.
