Sunday 06-07-2025
Journalist Majid Hood revealed details of the technical strategy adopted by the Union Club in preparation for the new season, confirming that most foreign players will continue to represent the team.

Hood indicated that potential changes will focus on foreign players under the age of 21, as the management is considering making limited adjustments to develop this category in line with the technical staff's plans.

Regarding local players, the journalist explained that the sports management has asked the quartet Saleh Al-Amri, Sultan Al-Farhan, Abdulilah Hawsawi, and Awad Al-Nashari to look for suitable transfer offers.

This step comes as part of the restructuring of the team's roster, allowing for the inclusion of new elements capable of adding greater technical value to the squad of French coach Laurent Blanc.

Concerning the young player Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Hood denied the rumors about the coach's rejection of his stay, confirming that the news regarding his exclusion is incorrect and has no basis in truth.
