Osimhen Rejects Huge Offer from Al-Hilal and Chooses Galatasaray
Sunday 06-07-2025
Italian newspaper "Corriere dello Sport" reported that Nigerian star Victor Osimhen has made his decision regarding his future, favoring a move to Turkish club Galatasaray, while waiting for the two clubs to reach an official agreement, as Napoli insists on receiving the full amount of the release clause.

According to the newspaper, Osimhen rejected a huge offer from Saudi Al-Hilal worth 40 million euros annually, preferring to stay in Europe and holding onto his current salary of at least 12 million euros. Galatasaray made an offer of 16 million euros annually to convince the player, who showed initial agreement after returning from his vacation in Nigeria.

On the other hand, Napoli refuses to make any financial concessions, insisting on the payment of the release clause amounting to 75 million euros to activate the deal, while Galatasaray's offers have so far stopped at 50 - 60 million euros, complicating negotiations.

The newspaper confirms that Galatasaray enjoys fan support and potential sponsorship to complete the deal, while Napoli awaits clarity to determine its next step, whether to keep Osimhen or search for a replacement to support the attack alongside Lukaku, considering Darwin Nunez, Lorenzo Luka, and Nicolas Jackson among its options.
