João Félix Clarifies His Position on Returning to Benfica
The Portuguese star João Félix has opened the door to the possibility of returning to his former club Benfica, amid his exclusion from the plans of Chelsea's coach Enzo Maresca for the upcoming season.
The player stated in comments reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano: "The vision of coach Bruno Lage, whom I know and who has been important in my career, gives me points in my decision regarding the future, and I see returning to Benfica positively."
He added: "Perhaps returning to Benfica is the place I lean towards the most...".
Félix had played last season on loan at Milan before the Italian club announced the player's return this summer to the Blues.
