Christian Dresden, the CEO of Bayern Munich, praised the Belgian coach Vincent Kompany highly.

He added: "I am sure that through his work he will lay a solid foundation for a successful future. Now, it’s about forming the team well and having a good preparation period for the season."

He concluded: "Honestly, the time here in the United States is already a preparation period for the season. The team is cohesive."
