Real Betis Officially Signs Rodrigo Riquelme
Real Betis announced today that they have reached a full agreement with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of winger Rodrigo Riquelme to the ranks of the Eagles, after signing a contract that extends until 2030.
Rodrigo Riquelme is a graduate of Atletico Madrid's academy and made his first-team debut during the 2018/2019 season. Since then, he has had successful loan spells with clubs such as CD Mirandés, AFC Bournemouth, and Girona.
He then returned to play with Atletico Madrid in the 2023/2024 season, where he also appeared in UEFA Champions League matches.
He has represented Spain at all youth levels and received his first call-up to the senior national team in November 2023, where he participated in his first official international match.
