Officially.. Betis announces the signing of Rodrigo Riquelme
Real Betis announced today that it has reached a full agreement with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of their winger Rodrigo Riquelme to the ranks of the Eagles, after signing a contract that extends until 2030.
Rodrigo Riquelme is one of the graduates of Atletico Madrid's academy and made his first appearance with the first team during the 2018/2019 season. After that, he had successful loan spells with clubs such as CD Mirandés, AFC Bournemouth, and Girona.
He then returned to participate with Atletico Madrid in the 2023/2024 season, where he also appeared in UEFA Champions League matches.
He represented Spain at all age levels and received his first call-up to the senior national team in November 2023, where he participated in his first official international match.
