Pablo Torre Prefers Move to Real Mallorca
Pablo Torre, the Barcelona midfielder, is nearing a departure to Real Mallorca during the summer transfer window, in a move that the young Spaniard hopes will kickstart his career after a season with limited appearances for the Catalan team under coach Hans Flick.
According to the newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo', Pablo Torre has made his decision to stay in La Liga and declined an offer from Ajax Amsterdam, who will participate in the Champions League next season. Barcelona and Mallorca are currently negotiating to finalize the details of the deal.
Pablo Torre joined Barcelona in the summer of 2022 from Racing Santander for 5 million euros, and it was planned for him to start with the reserve team before being promoted to the first team later, but he did not receive enough opportunities under former coach Xavi Hernandez.
He then spent a season on loan with Girona before returning to the Catalan team and trying to impress Hans Flick.
Torre's contract with Barcelona ends in the summer of 2026, and the Catalan club is looking to sell him this summer to avoid losing him for free at the end of his contract, in addition to improving its financial situation according to the financial fair play rules in La Liga.
