Wissam Abu Ali is Close to Leaving Al Ahly
Media personality Mohieb Abdel-Hady confirmed the imminent departure of Wissam Abu Ali, the Al Ahly star, from the team during the current summer transfer window.
Mohieb Abdel-Hady stated on the program "El Laeeb" on MBC Masr channel: "Wissam Abu Ali has received very tempting offers from some Gulf clubs, with the lowest offer for the player reaching 5 million dollars per season, while he earns 1 million dollars with Al Ahly per season."
He added: "Three official offers have reached Al Ahly from Gulf clubs competing to sign Wissam Abu Ali, where the financial compensation has reached 6.5 million dollars for Al Ahly, but these clubs are open to increasing the financial compensation."
He continued: "Wissam Abu Ali's departure from Al Ahly has become inevitable, given the player's insistence on leaving the team.. Wissam Abu Ali is considered out of Al Ahly."
He concluded: "Al Ahly has strengthened the attacking line by signing Mohamed Sherif and has renewed negotiations with Mostafa Mohamed, the Nantes striker, to sign him as a replacement for Wissam Abu Ali."
