Real Madrid is working on its last summer deals
Thursday 03-07-2025
Journalist Jorge Picon revealed that Real Madrid has not completely closed the summer transfer window yet, although the club is currently not working on any new signings except for monitoring the situation of Alvaro Carreras, a player from Benfica.

Picon explained that Real Madrid's management is currently focused on the left-back deal for Alvaro Carreras but is excluding any further moves unless unexpected developments occur, such as the departure of a player or an ideal opportunity arises in the market.

The source indicated that the club is satisfied with its current squad, considering it strong and competitive enough for the new season, which makes the current situation closer to a state of anticipation and caution rather than rushing into signings.

Real Madrid had attempted to acquire Carreras before the start of the Club World Cup, but there was no agreement with Benfica regarding the price of the deal, as the Portuguese club wants 50 million euros to part with him.
