Blanis stated in his remarks: "Talking about the weakness of the Saudi league does not reflect reality. There are 5 or 6 clubs competing at a very high level, featuring top-notch foreign players."

He added: "These global stars not only elevate the quality of the championship but also contribute directly to the development of local players' performance through strong and continuous competition."

The sports director of Al-Ittihad also cited his team's victory over Inter Milan with a score of 2-0 just days before the start of last season, pointing out that this is practical evidence of the strength of Saudi teams and the development of their level.
