Pena is currently looking for opportunities to play outside Spain, as he has received several offers from foreign clubs and intends to make his decision in the coming week.

Pena wishes to finalize his transfer situation before the start of Barcelona's training scheduled for July 13, especially since his contract with the club extends for another year, which forces him to attend training if the procedures for his departure are not completed.

It is worth mentioning that the presence of four goalkeepers in Barcelona's squad currently, despite the lack of an official announcement regarding Szczesny's contract renewal, does not provide the club with a significant negotiating advantage in selling Pena, which may affect his transfer price in the coming days.
