Inter Milan is facing an increasing internal crisis amid the growing interest from Turkish club Galatasaray in signing the team's star, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, during the summer transfer window, which has created a division within the Nerazzurri ranks.

Lautaro Martinez, the team's captain, recently made strong statements, confirming that anyone who does not wish to continue with Inter should leave, in a clear reference to Hakan Çalhanoğlu.

In a related context, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer has also become a target for Galatasaray to strengthen their goalkeeping position, although there are currently no official negotiations.

Sommer is 36 years old and is contracted with Inter Milan until June 2026, having joined the team in the summer of 2023 from Bayern Munich.
