In the context of the 38th and final round of the Iraqi Stars League Championship, the Oil team managed to achieve an important victory over Al-Zawraa team with a score of two goals to one, in the match that brought the two teams together at the magical Ahmed Rady Stadium.

The match started cautiously from both teams, with few attempts, but the Oil team managed to obtain a penalty kick through which Ahmed Sabri scored the first goal of the match in the 23rd minute.

At the beginning of the second half, the Oil team added the second goal of the match through player Ahmed Sabri in the 48th minute, giving his team the lead with two goals.

The Al-Nawras team tried to return to the match and began launching attacks on the opponent's goal until they managed to score through Hassan Abdul-Karim in the 54th minute.

The match ended as it was, and the Oil team reached 59 points in fifth place, while Al-Zawraa's score remained at 77 points, securing the second place in the league.
