The German Hans Flick, the head coach of FC Barcelona, has decided the future of the duo Firmin Lopez and Eric Garcia, according to what was confirmed by the Spanish newspaper "Sport".

Eric Garcia's contract with Barcelona extends until the summer of 2026, while Firmin Lopez is contracted with the Catalan club until June 2029, amid reports linking the midfielder with a move to clubs like Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Al Ahli Saudi.

The newspaper clarified that Flick informed Barcelona's management of his desire to keep the players and not allow their departure during the summer transfer window.

The report added that the German coach requested the management to expedite the extension of Eric Garcia's contract as soon as possible, especially after the good performance he showed last season, where he played 45 matches, scored five goals, and assisted three others, while Firmin Lopez participated in 46 matches, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists.
