The Moroccan club Wydad Athletic has shown great interest in signing the German coach Joseph Zinnbauer, the current head coach of the Algerian team Chabab de Kabylie and the former coach of Raja Casablanca, as part of the management's plans to strengthen the coaching staff in preparation for the upcoming sports season 2025/2026.

Zinnbauer is considered one of the prominent names on the negotiation table, given his extensive experience and precise knowledge of the Moroccan league atmosphere after his previous stint with Raja.
