Media figure Ahmed Shoubeir revealed Al-Ahly's plan to strengthen the team during the summer transfer window.

Shoubeir confirmed in radio statements that Al-Ahly is in serious negotiations with Yassin Marai, the star of Farco Club, and also stated that negotiations with Mohamed Shoukry are nearing completion.

He added: "Players Karim Nedved and Omar Al-Sa'i have become close to leaving the team, while Ahmed Abdelkader continues training until a final decision is made regarding his future."

He continued: "Cristo has officially left Al-Ahly, and Reda Selim is a candidate to be included in a swap deal or to move on loan. The name Mohamed Sherif has re-emerged as an attacking option, in anticipation of the possibility of Wissam Abu Ali leaving, despite Al-Ahly announcing its insistence on keeping him."
