Al-Hilal in Defensive Trouble Before Clash with Fluminense
Tuesday 01-07-2025
The participation of Hassan Tambakti, defender of Al-Hilal's first team, in the match against Brazilian Fluminense is in serious doubt, as he continues to suffer from a knee injury he sustained recently.

An informed source confirmed that Tambakti has not yet passed the recovery stage, as he was injured during the training session prior to the match against Manchester City in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup.

At the same time, Al-Hilal conducted recovery training for the players who participated against Manchester City, while the rest of the players continued their regular training in preparation for the crucial match against Fluminense.

Al-Hilal successfully qualified for the Round of 16 after finishing as runners-up in Group H, accumulating five points from three matches, behind Spanish Real Madrid, which topped the group with seven points.

The blue team drew in their first match against Real Madrid 1-1, then repeated the draw with Red Bull Salzburg 0-0, before defeating Pachuca 2-0, and dramatically eliminating Manchester City with a 4-3 victory.

Al-Hilal is now preparing to face Brazilian Fluminense in the quarter-finals next Friday at the 'Camping World' stadium in Orlando, USA, with high hopes of reaching the semi-finals.
