Reliable journalist "Akram Konur" reported via his official account on the social media platform "X" that the Turkish club Fenerbahçe is seeking to sign Spanish star Marco Asensio, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, on loan during the summer transfer window.

Konur clarified that Asensio's high salary, which ranges between 13 and 14 million euros annually, poses a significant obstacle to completing the deal.

Fenerbahçe has requested that Paris Saint-Germain's management cover part of the player's salary to facilitate reaching an agreement between the two parties.

The same source confirmed that the Turkish club has not yet made an official offer, but negotiations are still ongoing between both sides.
