The Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb officially announced its signing of the young Spanish defender Sergi Dominguez from Barcelona.

The club confirmed in an official statement the joining of Dominguez on a long-term contract under the management of coach Mario Kovacevic.

Dominguez underwent his first training sessions with Barcelona last season and participated in six official matches with the first team, before the club decided to allow him to leave this summer due to the large number of players in the defensive position.

According to media reports, Barcelona received 1.2 million euros from the transfer of Dominguez, while retaining 20% of any future sale value.

During the last season, Dominguez played 25 matches with Barcelona Athletic, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
