
Mohamed Shawky Appointed as New Head Coach of ZED Club
ZED Club announced this evening, Monday, the appointment of Mohamed Shawky as the head coach of the first team, in preparation for the new season of the Egyptian Premier League.
The club confirmed through its official account that Shawky will take over the coaching role, succeeding Hamada Sedky, who temporarily managed the team in the final rounds of the last season after the departure of Magdy Abdel-Aaty.
Mohamed Shawky has diverse coaching experience, having started his career with Wadi Degla in 2016, then worked within the coaching staff of the Egyptian Olympic team under Shawky Gharib, before joining the senior national team under Carlos Queiroz, and then moving to the youth sector at Al Ahly, eventually reaching the first team as an assistant to Emad Nassar.
The club concluded its announcement with the phrase: "A new beginning starts here, the Kaiser Mohamed Shawky as the head coach of our first team," referring to the start of a new phase with the Egyptian coach.
