Real Madrid Decides to Keep Nico Paz at Como
Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Real Madrid has decided not to activate the option to sign the young Argentine star Nico Paz during the current summer transfer window, following the completion of the Franco Mastantuono deal.
Romano stated via his official account on X platform that Nico Paz will remain for an additional season with the Italian club Como, under the management of coach Cesc Fabregas, as confirmed by the royal club.
The source added that Real Madrid still holds a buyback clause for Nico Paz for 9 million euros in the summer of 2026, and 10 million in the summer of 2027.
The young Argentine star made a remarkable appearance with Como in the past season, which led the royal club to consider bringing him back this summer.
