Bayern Munich successfully advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup, currently taking place in the United States.

This qualification came after a valuable victory against their competitor, Brazilian club Flamengo, in the Round of 16 of the tournament with a score of 4-2.

Bayern Munich opened the scoring early in the match through Erik Polgar, who accidentally scored an own goal in the sixth minute after a well-executed corner kick by Kimmich.

Meanwhile, the outstanding English star Harry Kane succeeded in scoring the second goal in the 10th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, before Flamengo's players managed to reduce the deficit by scoring their first goal in the 33rd minute through a strong shot from Gerson da Silva.

Just before the end of the first half, specifically in the 42nd minute, Leon Goretzka succeeded in scoring the third goal for the Bavarian team, while Jorginho scored the second goal for the Brazilian team in the 54th minute through a penalty that he successfully converted.

In the 73rd minute, Harry Kane returned once again to score his second goal and the fourth for his team, confirming Bayern Munich's qualification to the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain, who qualified after defeating Inter Miami.
