Four Foreign Players on the Sale List at Al-Ahli Club
In a surprising and unexpected move, media sources revealed that the management of Al-Ahli Saudi Club decided to make radical changes affecting several important positions within the club, primarily the position of the sports director.
According to journalist Mishaal Al-Otaibi, sports director Lee Congerton has been dismissed as part of a series of decisive decisions aimed at a comprehensive restructuring designed to correct the technical and administrative course before the start of the new season.
It was also announced that a four-member technical committee has been formed, including two foreign members with significant experience, alongside two local competencies, with the committee having immediately begun its tasks concerning foreign professionals.
Reports indicated that the committee recommended starting the process of marketing the contracts of four of the team's most prominent stars: Franck Kessié, Allan Saint-Maximin, Roberto Firmino, and Alexander, in preparation for their potential release.
The changes did not stop at the coaching staff and players but extended to the administrative structure of the club's profit-making company, amid reports of the imminent exclusion of two prominent figures from the current administration.
On another note, the Al-Ahli management believes that selling Ivorian star Kessié during the upcoming summer transfer window would be a significant financial gain, especially with the approaching end of his contract, which would prevent losing him without compensation.
