Bayern Munich has entered advanced negotiations to sign Nick Völkemaid, the Stuttgart forward, during the summer transfer window, according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano mentioned via his official account on the social media platform 'X' that Bayern Munich is preparing an initial offer to acquire the player, after reaching a complete agreement on the personal terms of the contract. He added that the Bavarian club's management has internally agreed to continue discussions and press Stuttgart to finalize the deal.

Romano clarified that Bayern Munich has prepared a five-year contract pending Stuttgart's approval, which hopes to retain the player. In contrast, Völkemaid has expressed a clear desire to move to Bayern.

Völkemaid recently shone in the Germany U21 national team jersey at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, where he significantly contributed to the team's reaching the final match.
