The young star Lamine Yamal is preparing for a new phase in his career with FC Barcelona, as he looks forward to taking on greater responsibilities during the upcoming 2025/2026 season, according to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo".

Yamal is currently enjoying a summer vacation filled with activities, traveling between Italy and Brazil before spending the last days on Ibiza Island, enjoying water sports and sharing moments with his teammate Gavi, as well as attending a concert by the singer Ozuna and meeting the Catalan singer Bad Gyal.

The newspaper indicates that July 13 will be a pivotal moment in Lamine Yamal's career, as FC Barcelona will begin their preparation period for the new season, coinciding with the player's 18th birthday, and this date also marks the start of his new contract with the club, which extends until the summer of 2031.

Lamine, who has become a prominent symbol of the team despite his young age, will wear the number 10 jersey previously held by Ansu Fati, who has moved to Monaco on loan. The player hopes to develop his performance under the guidance of coach Hans Flick, after proving himself strongly in the past season.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", Yamal, whose market value is currently 200 million euros according to the "Transfermarkt" website, aims to continue his development and participate in crucial roles with Barcelona, including joining the list of free-kick and penalty takers.
