Ahmed Al-Tayeb Criticizes Zamalek Fans
Sports commentator Ahmed Al-Tayeb directed criticism at Zamalek fans in a post on Facebook.
Al-Tayeb said: "It's normal for the rival fans not to wish you success and to work hard to diminish your chances of success and your players'!! This is very normal and happens all over the world, but you as Zamalek fans should not belittle, insult, and curse one of your players just because something was written about him in paid pages!! He has a professional contract and he wants to leave, and your happiness is to tell him to go to hell and the club doesn't rely on anyone.
He continued: "No, my friend, no and hell no!! Control yourself and calm down a bit!! Don't fall for the bait!! Your support, care, and concern for your club's player and your desire for him to stay is what matters most, and that’s what will make him stick with you as a club and with you as fans, and not drift into the trap set for him. The most important feeling for the player is the love, support, and attachment of his fans and club to him; after that, everything becomes easy!! Isn't that right?? Beware, this is a trap."
On another note, the Zamalek administration has begun searching for a super African striker to join the team amid the approaching departure of the Tunisian star Seif الدين Al-Jaziri.
