In a decisive step that could change the landscape of the Saudi league, the Portuguese site "noticiasaominuto" confirmed that coach Jorge Jesus has officially agreed to coach Al-Nassr starting next season, succeeding Italian Stefano Pioli.

According to details, Al-Nassr management offered a one-year contract renewable for a second season, during which the Portuguese coach will receive an annual salary estimated at around 7 million euros, in a massive deal reflecting the ambitions of "the global team".

Interestingly, Jesus did not make his decision without consultation, as he reached out to Cristiano Ronaldo to develop a joint vision for the work plan for the upcoming season, indicating the importance of the Portuguese star's role in the new technical project of the club.

According to the same report, Al-Nassr may officially announce the deal within the next week, while Al-Hilal – the club that Jesus coached last season – did not object to his transfer to their traditional rival.

One of the main goals of the new coach is to support Cristiano Ronaldo in achieving his historic goal of scoring 1,000 goals during his career, in addition to returning Al-Nassr to the championship podium after an absence since 2023.
