Real Mallorca Reaches Agreement with Barcelona for Pablo Torre
Saturday 28-06-2025
Spanish newspaper "Sport" revealed that Real Mallorca is close to signing Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre in a permanent transfer deal before the end of June, amid late competition from Osasuna.

The report clarified that Mallorca has reached a near-final agreement with Barcelona to purchase 50% of the player's rights for 5 million euros, with Barcelona retaining the right to buy him back in the future for 10 million euros in the first year and 12 million in the second, while Osasuna is trying to make a final offer to convince the player and change his direction.

Barcelona's decision to sell the player, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026, comes despite the club's option to recover him later, and this step is part of the management's desire to reduce the congestion in the midfield and give the player a chance to showcase himself more in another team.

Pablo Torre, who joined Barcelona during the previous administration, did not get enough opportunities last season with coach Hans Flick, despite his effort in the few minutes he played, which led him to seek a new experience to regain his shine.
