Juventus Announces the Nature of Savona's Injury
The Italian club Juventus officially announced the nature of the injury to right-back Nicolo Savona, which he sustained against Manchester City in the Club World Cup.
The club stated: "Nicolo Savona underwent diagnostic tests today that revealed he has a severe tear in the capsular ligament, following his ankle injury against Manchester City."
It added: "He has already begun the rehabilitation process and will be reassessed in a month with new tests."
According to various media reports, the young player is expected to be sidelined for a period of 6-8 weeks, which represents a significant blow to the Old Lady.
