Manchester United Faces New Rejection from Brentford Regarding Mbeumo
Brentford Football Club has rejected a second offer from Manchester United for the striker Bryan Mbeumo, which was valued at £62.5 million, as confirmed by Sky Sports.
Manchester United had initially submitted an offer of £55 million, but the London club rejected it, before United raised their offer to £62.5 million, the same amount they recently paid to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton.
Sky Sports clarified that negotiations between the two parties are still ongoing, given Mbeumo's desire to move to Old Trafford, despite Tottenham Hotspur also showing interest in the player, having held preliminary talks with Brentford.
It is worth noting that Mbeumo had an outstanding season with Brentford, scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists in the Premier League, making him one of the most sought-after names in the current summer transfer market.
