Rafa Marin on the Brink of Villarreal
Spanish center-back Rafa Marin will join Villarreal coming from Italian club Napoli, according to Marca newspaper.
The Madrid newspaper reported that Marin, who is 23 years old, will move to Villarreal on a one-season loan.
It indicated that Villarreal will pay one million euros for the player's loan and salary, with an option to buy for 15 million euros.
The agreement also includes an additional clause that grants Napoli the right to receive 10% of the value of any future sale.
Real Madrid did not oppose Marin's move to Villarreal, as the royal club has the first refusal right according to its agreement with Napoli.
