Mbappe Files Official Complaint Against Paris Saint-Germain
Recent days have seen a new development in the tense relationship between Kylian Mbappe and his former club Paris Saint-Germain, as the French player filed an official complaint against the Parisian club, accusing it of moral harassment and attempted extortion.
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Mbappe, the captain of the French national team and current Real Madrid player, submitted the complaint on May 16, confirming that the management of Paris Saint-Germain forced him in 2023 to sign a new contract as a condition for returning to the first team, after he was excluded and placed among the group of unwanted players, known in the media as "the loft".
Two judges from the French investigation court have taken responsibility for examining the case, as part of an extensive judicial investigation that includes several other complaints filed by Mbappe against his former club, where he is demanding financial dues estimated at around 55 million euros, related to loyalty bonuses and unpaid salaries.
It is worth noting that the loft policy, which Paris Saint-Germain has implemented with several of its players, faces widespread criticism in France, amid accusations of violating players' professional rights, prompting the French judiciary to open official investigations to determine those responsible for such practices against Mbappe.
