First Comment from Moamen Soliman After Winning Against Al-Hudood and Claiming the Title
Police Club coach Moamen Soliman expressed his great happiness after his team was crowned the Iraqi Premier League title for the fourth consecutive season, praising the players and the high spirit they displayed in today's match against Al-Hudood, which ended with Al-Qithara winning 3-1.
Soliman said in a press statement after the match:
“Thank God for this very great blessing. Our players are always accustomed to playing with courage and determination, and the title is the fruit of a full season of effort and sacrifices.”
Speaking about the team's performance today despite having secured the title in advance, the Egyptian coach added:
“Some said the team celebrated since yesterday and might enter the match without focus, but our players responded on the field, delivering a great game, scoring beautiful goals, and the fans enjoyed watching an entertaining and open match.”
Soliman also addressed his tactical choices today, especially in light of the absence of some key names like league top scorer Mohanad Ali “Mimi,” and the participation of some young players, saying:
“Today marks the 15th consecutive match in which I confirm that we do not have key players and substitutes; everyone plays. There is no player in the team who has not had the opportunity to play; on the contrary, sometimes we changed seven players between matches, and this is the secret of our success and continuity.”
He concluded his remarks by saying:
“We dedicate the title to the loyal fans and everyone who supported the team this season. We have a cohesive team and a wonderful group of players, and we will think from now on about how to maintain this level and prepare strongly for the upcoming season and challenges ahead.
