Theo Hernandez on his way to join Al Hilal after failing to renew with Milan
Wednesday 25-06-2025
French star Theo Hernandez is close to transferring to Saudi club Al Hilal, after leaving this morning on a private flight to Paris, where he will hold a final meeting with club officials to sign the contract that links him to the team led by Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.

According to what was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Theo decided to leave AC Milan after the failure of negotiations to renew his current contract, which ends in the summer of 2026, prompting the management of the Rossoneri to agree to Al Hilal's offer that exceeded 30 million euros including bonuses.

Atletico Madrid had entered negotiations to regain the French player, but their financial offer did not meet the expectations of Milan's management, leading to its official rejection and opening the door for Al Hilal to finalize the deal.

With the contract signing approaching, Theo is expected to become one of the prominent names joining the Saudi Roshan League this summer, as part of Al Hilal's project to strengthen its squad with global names under new coaching leadership.
