Wednesday 25-06-2025
The Spanish club Barcelona has officially announced its anticipated return to its historic stadium "Camp Nou" on August 10, 2025, after more than two years of absence due to comprehensive renovation and development works that began in mid-2023.

The return comes in the context of the Joan Gamper Cup match, an annual event that represents a deep-rooted tradition in the club's history, where the identity of the competing team and details of the special celebration for this symbolic occasion are expected to be announced soon.

During the absence, Barcelona played its matches at the "Montjuïc" stadium, in a temporary experience that did not fully satisfy the fans, who are now eagerly looking forward to returning to the stands of "Camp Nou".

Despite the return date being set, the club clarified that construction work is not yet complete, as work continues in important areas within the stadium, such as the third tier, VIP seating, and the roof of the stadium, in addition to some external developments and internal facilities.

Barcelona has confirmed its commitment to providing the best possible experience for fans during this transitional phase, by improving entry and exit mechanisms and supporting services to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

To promote this major event, the club launched a wide advertising campaign under the slogan: "We are coming home, we shake again," which includes field activities and digital initiatives aimed at strengthening the relationship with fans both locally and internationally.

The return to "Camp Nou" is an important symbolic step in Barcelona's journey, paving the way for the stadium's reopening in its new guise and starting a new chapter in the history of one of the most famous football stadiums in the world.
