Sources revealed that Mahmoud El Khatib, the Chairman of Al Ahly Club, has decided to hold a meeting with Jose Ribeiro, the head coach of the first team, following the team's return from the United States.
According to the sources, El Khatib has decided to hold a session with Ribeiro and Mohamed Youssef, the sporting director, to resolve several important issues, primarily concerning foreign professionals and those leaving the team, as well as Al Ahly's needs for the new season.
Al Ahly will arrive in Cairo this Wednesday afternoon after being eliminated from the FIFA Club World Cup and the team will have a break for 18 days.
The sources confirmed that after exiting the FIFA Club World Cup, there are discussions within Al Ahly Club to implement regulations on the players after their failure to achieve any victory in the tournament, settling for two draws and a loss.
