A British media report stated that Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso considers the young Argentine player Franco Mastantuno one of the essential pillars in his technical project with the royal club for the upcoming season.

Real Madrid recently announced the signing of Mastantuno this summer for 45 million euros to be paid in 3 installments, with his official journey with the team starting on August 14, when he turns 18 years old.

According to the British newspaper "The Athletic", Alonso has shown great admiration for Mastantuno's talent and played a pivotal role in securing his transfer from River Plate to Real Madrid this summer.

The Spanish coach plans to give the player a dual tactical role, combining the position of right winger and playmaker.
