Bayern Munich continues to intensify its efforts to strengthen its attacking line during the summer transfer window, turning its attention to the duo from English club Liverpool, Colombian Luis Diaz and Dutchman Cody Gakpo.

According to the German newspaper "Bild", the Bavarian club's sporting director, Max Eberl, has prioritized Luis Diaz after negotiations with Real Madrid faltered due to coach Xabi Alonso's insistence on keeping Rodrygo. Diaz was close to joining the Merengues earlier, before the direction shifted towards Bayern.

In the same context, the name Cody Gakpo has resurfaced, as the newspaper revealed that Bayern has reopened communication lines with his agent, given the club's desire to acquire a winger who can also play as a central striker. Liverpool values Gakpo at €70 million, a figure that the Reds' management will not easily concede.

Bayern Munich's interest in the two stars comes as the management seeks to compensate for the failed signing of Florian Wirtz, who moved to Liverpool. Nevertheless, Bayern is considering the possibility of negotiating with Liverpool again.

Both Diaz and Gakpo are key pillars of Liverpool's attack, but their future with the team may witness significant changes this summer if the English club's management responds to the German club's offers.
