De Bruyne Requests Napoli to Sign Grealish
Sunday 22-06-2025
The British newspaper "The Sun" revealed that Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne has requested Napoli's management, led by coach Antonio Conte, to sign his former Manchester City teammate Jack Grealish during the summer transfer window.

According to the newspaper, De Bruyne is eager to play alongside Grealish again and has discussed with Conte the possibility of signing the player, especially after Grealish was excluded from Manchester City's squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.

"The Sun" noted that Conte inquired with De Bruyne about Grealish's situation, given that he is close to leaving City, and the player expressed his willingness to significantly reduce his salary in order to complete the transfer.

Napoli is expected to pay just over half of Grealish's current salary, which is £300,000 per week, at a time when the English player is looking to move in order to return to the plans of Thomas Tuchel, the coach of the England national team, in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
