Mitrovic Misses Match Against Salzburg
It has become certain that Al-Hilal's Saudi striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic, will miss the team's upcoming match against Red Bull Salzburg from Austria in the second round of the group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Hilal will face Salzburg on Monday morning at the "Audi Field" as part of Group E of the tournament.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah", Italian coach Simone Inzaghi decided to exclude Mitrovic from the match squad after medical examinations showed that he needed more time to recover from his muscle injury.
Mitrovic suffered a hamstring injury just two days before Al-Hilal's first match in the World Cup against Real Madrid, which ended in a positive draw of 1-1.
