Reports have revealed that Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana has decided to continue with Manchester United during the current summer transfer window, rejecting an offer from French club Monaco, which has recently shown interest in signing him.

According to the British newspaper 'The Sun', Monaco contacted Onana's representatives to discuss the possibility of signing him, as the French club is looking for a new goalkeeper. However, sources clarified that Onana does not intend to leave Old Trafford.

The newspaper added that Onana's plan is to stay in Manchester because he wants to prove himself and help the team return to where it deserves to be.

The newspaper also pointed out that Onana is aware that he has made some mistakes, but he sees proving otherwise as a personal challenge, and he has confidence in his abilities and his capacity to respond to skeptics.

Meanwhile, coach Ruben Amorim is planning to renew competition in the goalkeeper position this summer, especially amid reports suggesting that Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayındır is close to leaving the team.
