The Competitions Committee of the Iraqi Football Association continues its efforts to organize the ongoing football season 2024-2025, by setting crucial dates related to the Iraq Cup and other local championships. In this context, the committee officially announced the holding of an extensive press conference on the evening of next Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the conference hall at the headquarters of the Iraqi Football Association.

The head of the Competitions Committee, Dr. Firas Mutasher, stated in press remarks: "The conference will be held concurrently with the draw for the quarter-finals of the Iraq Cup, and it will include a comprehensive announcement of the official dates for the conclusion of all competitions of the season, whether the Iraqi Stars League, the Premier League, or the first and second divisions, in addition to age group championships."

Mutasher continued: "The committee will also present extensive statistics for each championship it has overseen this season, as part of the transparency and commitment to document the technical and organizational performance throughout the season."

The head of the committee added that an official invitation was extended to the representatives of the eight clubs that qualified for the quarter-finals of the cup, to attend the draw ceremony, which will also determine the dates and venues for the semi-final matches, in addition to the final match.

Firas Mutasher concluded his remarks by confirming that the Competitions Committee is determined to conclude the season with the highest levels of organization and discipline, to ensure competitive fairness and achieve the goals of the various championships on both technical and administrative levels.
