Former Al-Ahly Player Provokes Zamalek Fans
Mohamed Joudah, a former Al-Ahly player, sparked controversy with a message directed at Zamalek fans via Facebook following Al-Ahly's loss to Palmeiras from Brazil.
Al-Ahly lost to Palmeiras with a score of 2-0 in the second round of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Mohamed Joudah said: "Al-Ahly lost? Yes, they lost to the champion of a continent in another continent, and this is not an excuse because losing to the world champions is a disaster for us."
He continued: "Your problem is that you have never reached and will never reach that status or that place, neither closely nor remotely. Stay in Bani Obaid and Steelinbush."
