Roma Announces Departure of Sporting Director Florent Ghisolfi
The Italian club Roma announced today, Wednesday, the departure of its sporting director Florent Ghisolfi after a mutual agreement between the two parties to terminate the contract.
The club stated in an official statement: "Roma and sporting director Florent Ghisolfi have mutually agreed to part ways."
It added: "Over the past year, Florent has shown great professionalism and remarkable commitment during a critical phase in the club's journey."
The statement concluded: "We thank him for his contributions and wish him success in his upcoming professional challenges. Thank you, Flo."
The announcement comes a day after veteran coach Claudio Ranieri's remarks, in which he confirmed that the Giallorossi are looking to appoint a new sporting director.
According to sources from "Football Italia," former AC Milan director Frederic Massara is expected to take over the position following Ghisolfi at the Olimpico Stadium.
